We last wrote about this talented New York City native last November upon the release of his latest project, The Interlude. Unlike other mixtapes that can be heavy either on guest features or industry beats, The Interlude found its inspiration in classic interludes from albums like Illmatic, The Chronic, and many others.
One of the project's highlights, "On The Hill," gets the video treatment here. The mellow, jazzy production from 6th Sense provides the perfect soundtrack to Daytona's time spent chillin' by the bay in some fresh LRG gear. While it feels like a commercial at times, the video definitely complements the vibe of the track, even if you feel like there's a story going on that doesn't quite make sense.
