Even though networks like MTV, VH1, and BET have become more known for the embarrassing reality shows, they still serve a purpose (sometimes) in terms of breaking an artist to a bigger audience. It's with that in mind that we're glad to see The Kid Daytona appeared recently on 106 & Park to perform with a live band and 6th Sense. Daytona chose to tackle one of the highlights off last year's The Interlude, which you can still grab for free here. And "Never Be the Same" sounds just as great live as it does on the mixtape. After watching this, I can't help but be bitter about the fact he skipped out on a show a few months ago. Oh well, maybe next time.
