The KickDrums: "Perfect World" (MP3)
The KickDrums (Alex Fitts and Matt Penttila) dropped their track "Perfect World" as an MP3 a few months back. The fact that this hip hop/rock production teams did such a thing ain't exactly news.
What is news is that this time around, producer and artist RZA (also known as Bobby Digital) has reworked the track and given it an extra kick, so it's now available on the duo's site as a free download. RZA is working with The KickDrums on their second album.
The pair's first effort, Just a Game, received praise far and wide, which was to be expected since it came on the heels of their placing tracks with such musical heavyweights as 50 Cent, Young Joc, and Chamillionaire (plus producing a third of Ray Cash's debut album).
