The Horrors’ sudden about-turn was one of the big highlights of 2009, and their album, Primary Colours, remains one of the best of the year. Instead of lifting another track from the album, the band has plucked out the Psychedelic Furs-ish “Whole New Way,” which originally appeared as a bonus on the Japanese edition of the CD.
This song is more minimal, less cluttered than many of the tracks from Primary Colours. It possibly hints at a future direction from the band, who certainly know how to write an infernally catchy pop tune. This video gives Faris Rotter plenty of opportunity to pout and preen for the camera, which is something the band hasn’t lost since its earliest days.

That is beautiful! I absolutely love the Horrors, and everything they've done so far (Y)
