The Horrors: "Suffragette City" (David Bowie Cover) (Video)
It turns out that Brazilian singer-songwriter Seu Jorge isn't the only music act that can knock out a David Bowie cover. U.K. shoegaze-y rockers The Horrors recently proved that they, too, can tackle a Bowie tune and absolutely kill it. Their performance of "Suffragette City" for the folks at SEAT Music is almost scary in how close it is to the original version. Sure, it's a touch noiser, which is to be expected, and frontman Faris Badwan is a little shout-y/strained in the vocals department, but otherwise this is spot on.
