The Hold Steady: "Rock and Roll Problems"
It's only been a few days since The Hold Steady hit us with "Hurricane J," a song that highlighted a more bare-bones version of their boisterous, catchy, verbose rock and roll, and already Craig Finn and the gang have released a second track from their upcoming album Heaven is Whenever. "Rock and Roll Problems" again features a more stripped down sound with big, greasy guitar chords driving the song's retro chug. If you were listening to this on a stereo system you could probably convince yourself that this was something from your dad's vinyl collection. Heaven is Whenever sees release May 4 via Vagrant.
