The Happy Hollows: "Faces"

You've heard The Happy Hollows before. At least, you have if you've seen this Samsung commercial. Late last year, the California group self-released their album Spells, that may have gotten lost in all of the year-end and decade-end hoopla. The opening track from Spells is a tune called "Faces," which - okay, sure - sounds a bit like the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and maybe with a bit of the Ting Tings thrown in there, too. But the song is visceral and unrelenting enough to gain its own character and, I guess, sell some cell phones. Check out the song here. [YANP]
