What happened to Beth Ditto's head? The Gossip's singer appears to have taken some cues from the Flaming Lips' "She Don't Use Jelly," going tangerine for this performance on Jools Holland's show. The band turned up to perform two songs from its current album, Music for Men.

Their disco-punk sound is getting a little tired now, and it’s hard not to cringe when Ditto attempts a ham-fisted segue into Marvin Gaye’s “I Heard it Through the Grapevine” (except singing “I heard it through the bass line”). But Ditto’s voice still soars, and it’s not difficult to imagine her pursuing other ventures once the promo for Music for Men is over.
