Back when we posted an apparently unofficial video for the Gossip's "Heavy Cross," our Matthew Richardson (aka Dr. Birthday Sex) mentioned how it was weird for no member of the band to appear in the clip, given the show-stopping potential of lead singer Beth Ditto. The official video fixes that problem, since Ditto is in the official video donned in outfits that look like they were borrowed from Stargate. There's also a lot of abstract dancing, and confetti being shot out of fingertips.

The Gossip's major label debut, Music for Men, is due out on June 23 via Columbia/Sony. [Stereogum]
