This is the second new Fred Falke remix in as many days and the third in as many weeks. It might start to seem like Falke is just hypnotizing all of the online music media into covering him, but who are we to ignore a sudden flurry of activity from a man who can completely reinvent the sound of a track?

A more appropriate subject for Falke's talents than the (still impressive) Grizzly Bear remix from the day before, "Heavy Cross" losing its dark, slithering feel under Falke's warm touch, and singer Beth Ditto's vocals take on a turbulent, youthful feel. At this point, I'm willing to bet that the only light in Fred Falke's house is provided by mirror ball.
