The trailer for the Darby Crash/Germs biopic, What We Do is Secret, has hit the net, and it’s the first look at the film before its premiere in NYC this Friday (it premieres in Chicago and Pittsburgh next week, and L.A. the week after). The film is poised to be this year’s Control—another biopic about a suicidal (Crash killed himself a few months after Ian Curtis) frontman for a cult punk band.
The Germs have reunited with actor Shane West as the lead singer, and are currently on the Vans Warped Tour. Now if only Sam Riley could convince Jou Division to go back on the road. [Stereogum]
