The Gaslight Anthem: "The '59 Sound" (Live on Letterman) (Video)

Since Bruce Springsteen was going to be playing the Super Bowl and couldn't be on his show, Letterman went out and got the best Springsteen-influenced punk band, The Gaslight Anthem, to perform on his show on Friday. The New Jersey band played "The '59 Sound," and Letterman was super-stoked afterwards, saying "My god that was good" and "that's tremendous" over and over again.

I didn't even know about this performance.

Great stuff. Can't wait to finally catch them live in May with Heartless Bastards.
