The Futureheads: "Struck Dumb"
"Heartbeat Song" the first single from Futureheads' upcoming fourth album, The Chaos, wasn't exactly awe-inspiring. In fact, it kind of stunk. Pitchfork's got a stream of second single "Struck Dumb," and it's considerably better; it has a nice, anthemic a capella chorus near the end, and it's less Weezer than "Hearbeat Song." That said, this isn't going to replace the band's cover of "Hounds of Love" as the one song by the band everyone knows. And unfortunately for Futureheads, nothing probably will.
The Chaos is due out on June 1.
