Call it borrowed nostalgia from the unremembered Christmases of the 1980s: Futureheads get all Christmas-y in the video for their new single "Christmas Was Better In the '80s," a song about how rad Christmas was back when Reagan was in the White House and Michael Jackson was sort of black. I remember one Christmas from the '80s and it was pretty rad: I got some Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I imagine people wishing for the old Futureheads to rear their harmonies again are probably sort of disappointed with this: they get all group vocals on this, but they sing about snow. Way to crush anticipation, dudes.
