As we previously reported, Toronto-based singer-songwriter Colin Munroe hit the studio with Pusha T to record his new single, “The Fight of My Life.” We didn’t really know what to expect from the duo, especially because they both tend to tread such different territory sonically. But upon hearing the tune, which hit the web today, it’s become clear that Pusha’s cool with hopping on the synth-infused R&B/pop bandwagon again. Hey, at least it’s not nearly as dreadful as that Pixie Lott shit, “What Do You Take Me For,” that Pusha must have rapped on for the sole purpose of getting a fat check. We hope.
