The Feelies: "Should Be Gone"
The Feelies burst back on to the scene with "Should Be Gone," which comes from Here Before, their first album since 1991's Time For A Witness. Surprise, surprise, it sounds just like the Feelies. That means plenty of jangle and slightly melancholy vocals, but in this case, it also means great backing vocals, and lead guitar work that bounces between searing and beautiful. It's almost as if the past 20 years didn't happen. Give it a spin over at Pitchfork.
Here Before is due out April 12 via Bar/None.
