Swampy garage rockers The Duke Spirit have a new EP out titled Kusama, from which “Everybody’s Under Your Spell” is taken. The Brit band has made innumerable jaunts Stateside and clearly sees this as a territory they could thrive in, although their success is on a strictly underground level at present. Their sound has been slightly cleaned up for this release, which might stand in their favor if they are courting a mainstream crowd, although this perfunctory rock number seems unlikely to break through.
