Yes, we know -- it sucks that The-Dream's promised release date of "6/7/2011" came and went without the release of his new album, The Love, IV (Diary Of A Mad Man). But the good news, I guess, is that he gave it a new scheduled date of Sept. 20. Hey, it's better than nothing, right? Oh, but wait, the sexed-up crooner-producer actually delivered some new music yesterday in the form of two clearly kinky tracks, "Body Work" and "Fuck My Brains Out."
The former is a grind-worthy joint that features The-Dream repeating lines like, "Put it on me! Baby..." and "Let me see that body work." Clearly, dude is still getting his fuck on and wants to let us know about it. Proving that point to the fullest is "Fuck My Brains Out," a pulsing, quick-paced joint that draws from the sleaziness of R. Kelly, funk of Rick James, and soul-pop of Michael Jackson. In other words, it's awesome.
