Diplomats: "Salute"
The prophesized Diplomats reunion* has gotten to the new music that is pretty bad phase: OnSmash has a stream of "Salute," the first single from the Diplos' reunion album. As was the case when the Diplomats actually mattered**, Cam'ron runs away with this one, dropping lines about going ATM versus MTA (that's ass-to-mouth and mouth-to-ass for you newbs). Also like the old days: Juelz was okay, and Jim was the worst. Nice True Blood reference, dude. You are so alt. I think it's time we start talking about how the Diplomats were actually more interesting for that huge fight with Jay-Z they all had and their breakup than they ever were on wax.
The Diplomats album is rumored for release later this year.
