The Dead Weather: "Treat Me Like Your Mother" (Diplo Remix) (Stream)

The Dead Weather's latest single is the clanging and menacing "Treat Me Like Your Mother," and perhaps realizing that having a video where you shoot each other like Terminators isn't enough to keep the song bloggable, they had Diplo do a remix of the track for RCRD LBL. Diplo removes pretty much all of the original music and replaces it with an oozing synth figure, and drops in the vocals at the appropriate climactic intervals. It's a bit more involved than most dance remixes of rock tracks, but it's still pretty unneccessary. Go to RCRD LBL to give it a listen.
