A huge crowd showed up in Los Angeles on Friday night (Aug. 28) to witness The Dead Weather perform on Jimmy Kimmel’s show. The band had a busy week on the West Coast, with Jack White setting up a temporary Third Man record store for a few days, which doubled up as a location for an intimate Dead Weather show.
They performed two songs on the show, including “So Far From Your Weapon” from the Horehound album. The band delivers a tight and raucous performance, with singer Alison Mosshart strapping on a Bo Diddley-style square guitar for “Weapon,” which is the calm before the storm of “Forever My Queen.”
Then, Saturday, it was down to San Diego for a headlining show at Street Scene. Busy weekend for sure!
