Jack White’s new band, the Dead Weather, explain how they came together and what their future plans are in this MTV interview. White does all the talking while Kills frontwoman Alison Mosshart holds the microphone, with the White Stripes singer explaining: “I don’t like to sit still for long. It doesn’t do anybody any good.”
The band recently played a concert at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City and more live dates are in the works, with White revealing plans to schedule some more shows this summer. The Dead Weather’s debut album, the wonderfully titled Horehound, is due for release on June 9 on White’s own Third Man record label. [The Modern Age]
