The Dead Weather: "Hang You From The Heavens" (Live at the 2009 mtvU Woodies) (Video)

The Dead Weather have been getting good reviews for the Horehound album, but even better plaudits have been earned for the band's the live show, with Allison Mosshart at the forefront. For those not lucky enough to have seen the band live, you can catch a video of their performance of Horehound's crown jewel, "Hang You From The Heavens," at the 2009 Woody Awards. The ceremony took place on November 18 at the Roseland Ballroom in NYC, and the broadcast will debut Friday, November 4, at 10 p.m. on mtvU. This particular version features a wicked drum solo by Jack White, a random stage diver who avoids being beaten by security, and the band in their signature all-black getups (who needs Twilight to be goth?)
