It's been a minute since we previously heard from Portland's the Dandy Warhols, who are working on a new album tentatively called This Machine. They're also still trekking around the country playing gigs, which brought them to Daytrotter's studio in Austin, Texas. And while there, the neo-psychedelic outfit decided to try something a little different. They have put a country western-inspired spin on three choice tracks here as part of their session for Daytrotter. They include "Country Leaver" off Thirteen Tales from Urban Bohemia; a cover of Bob Dylan's "You Ain't Goin' Nowhere"; and "We Used to Be Friends" off Welcome to the Monkey House.
You can download/stream the session at Daytrotter.
