The Dandy Warhols: "And Then I Dreamt of Yes" (Video)

Dandy Warhols work really hard to convince you the video for "And Then I Dreamt of Yes" is artistic; the thing references a masterpiece of German expressionism, Dr. Caligari, and it was directed by movie director Mark Helfrich, the dude responsible for Good Luck Chuck and the Predator movies. The video is artier than most I suppose, but aping an old movie and having a guy who brought Dane Cook's hilarious hijinks to the big screen doesn't make up for the song, which is upper level dreck; a self-absorbed and turgid moaner that's whole point seems to be that the Dandys can do four and a half minute songs that don't go anywhere.
