"Sleep When I Dead" is a fitting title for the song The Cure trotted out on Carson Daly's show on Friday--Cure frontman Robert Smith and guitarist Porl Thompson both look like they've been decomposing for a few days. I hate to bash the band for looking garish, but Smith has got to be sick of having to slather that lipstick all over his face every night to dress like he did when he was 20. But at least this performance was more energetic than the band's recent gig on Kimmel's show.
"Sleep When I'm Dead" is on 4:13 Dream, which is out now. [Stereogum]
