With Tha Carter III quickly taking over the world, it’s easy to forget that another great hip-hop album came out in physical form this week: The Cool Kids’ The Bake Sale EP. “Unos,” a non-EP track about (what else?) sneakers has just found its way into a sneakers-as-murderers video by Amir George. As far as the sound of the track goes, there’s not much of it here beyond the beat, but when Chuck and Mikey finally come in, it’s as good as anything on the EP.
The Cool Kids are on tour in Europe through July 20, when they join the Rock the Bells tour, and The Bake Sale EP is out now on Chocolate Industries. [Nah Right]
