This must be one of those situations where The Cool Kids shot this video sometime last year and are just now putting it online. Otherwise, I'm not entirely sure why they would put the effort into a video for a track off their 2009 mixtape, Gone Fishin', rather than do one for something off their 2010 mixtape, Tacklebox. Maybe they're making a point that they don't need to only promote what's new and that their music has longevity? I'm not saying it doesn't, it just seems like a strange move. Anyway, Mikey and Chuck appear to be in good hands here. Michael Sterling Eaton's visuals for chill banger "Gold Links" are just as fresh as the track, though things do get a little too hectic at times.
