Ric Ocasek just brought The Cars to Lollapalooza over the weekend, and the band subsequently headed to Stephen Colbert’s studio for an appearance on his show. The singer submits to a typically wry interview with the host—“shh, nobody tell them there’s no music industry anymore,” says Colbert, after announcing that Move Like This is the band’s first album since 1987. A version of “Keep on Knocking” (above) was also delivered for the show, although longstanding Cars fans are more likely to be into the web-only performance of the classic “My Best Friend’s Girl” (below).
