Jeymes Samuel's all-encompassing, multimedia work as The Bullitts has led to some intriguing collaborations over the past few months. From Jay Electronica to Lucy Liu, the U.K.-based artist certainly knows the right people. But on his latest single, "Those Silly Names," the focus remains solely on Samuel and the slowly unfolding visuals. They're pretty dramatic, as is the song itself, but it's not overly so. And it's presented in a way that most folks who have been through a rough break-up can relate to as Samuel sits by a window getting pummeled by memories of his relationship.
The track stems from the Bullitts' forthcoming debut, They Die By Dawn and Other Short Stories, which is due out next year.
