The BPA: "He's Frank" ft. Iggy Pop (Video)

Earlier this week we got Coldplay as puppets, and today we get Iggy Pop as a puppet like the ones for Disney Broadway plays where a dude in black controls the puppet. Except instead of using that puppet technology to make Timon on stage possible, they use the Iggy Pop puppet to beat up the puppeteers, one of which turns out to be The BPA's Norman Cook (you may know him as Fatboy Slim). The Iggy puppet makes Iggy look like a caveman--which I suppose isn't too far off. The song's beat suits Iggy's gravelly vocals well, as Cook doesn't try to make him into a dance-rock singer. 

The BPA's new album, I Think We're Gonna Need A Bigger Boat, is due out sometime in 2009. [Stereogum]
