Black Lips' 2007 LP, Good Bad Not Evil, showcased that the band was more than just four puerile punks who pissed onstage, they were capable of writing some great Nuggets-referencing garage pop. The first single from their upcoming fifth LP, 200 Million Thousand, "Starting Over" continues that trend-- the song starts clangy and soft, and then gets considerably rawer thanks to the band's out-of-tune, shouting vocals.
