The Black Lips: Short Fuse (MP3)

The first single from Black Lips' 200 Million Thousand, "Starting Over" was jangly and meditative, but this new single, "Short Fuse" is a more unhinged rocker that should fit nicely into the band's live show. "Don't light me up, I've got a short fuse," a cacophony of voices yells at the beginning, and the song is similarly incendiary, especially in the latter half when a raucous guitar solo kicks in.
