The Black Keys' "Tighten Up" is a bona fide hit--it's on the modern rock charts and it's on Vh1. Which is why when the band hit the U.K. and Jools Holland recently to promote Brothers, they trotted out that song instead of something with a little more punch--like, say, "Next Girl." But still, it's good to see the Keys getting some notice outside of indie circles; they are on a major label after all. It's about time they start doing things major label bands do, like charting singles.
Brothers is out now.
