The Black Keys

Strange Times (on Late Night with Conan O’ Brien)

Akron, Ohio’s favorite sons The Black Keys dropped by Conan last night to play the first single off their Danger Mouse-produced album Attack & Release, “Strange Times.” Of course, guitarist Dan Auerbach shows off some guitar fireworks and drummer Patrick Carney flails around the drum kit with little concern for his vintage kit. The most interesting aspect here is how loose the track sounds without Danger Mouse’s production.

Dude its the loose sound that makes them great, it's blues. The sound should change, it's the way music was long ago and should have stayed but some one always has to come along and screw with it. So shut up and listen, it great music, some of the best I have every heard.
