The Black Keys

"Hoochie Coo" ft. Jim Jones and Mos Def (MP3)

Average Rating: 5.33

One day after announcing their Blakroc hip-hop project, here's the Black Keys' "Hoochie Coo," a song from the album that features Jim Jones on the lazy verses and Mos Def singing, which is way better than it has any right to be. The Keys, for their part, are mostly in the background, with Dan Auerbach moaning in the background when he sees fit. "Hoochie" is not as bad as it could be with Jones involved, but I'm still looking forward to the Q-Tip and RZA tracks more than this one.

Blackroc is due out on Nov. 27.
