That announcement thing on Big Pink's website from earlier this week has been revealed, apparently: The band is readying an album for release in January 2012, and they've got a new single/video out now. It's called "Stay Gold," and it's all buzzing guitars, and synths that could probably communicate with people on Mars. Big Pink might have been on ice for two years, but they still know how to knock songs like this out of the park. The video is above: Look out for more gold-related effects than you can handle. The single is out officially on Nov. 7.
