The Big Pink: "Stay Gold" F. Danny Brown (AraabMuzik Remix)
One week ago today, MPC maestro AraabMuzik issued his remix of "Stay Gold" by the Big Pink. And as you might have guessed, he chopped the fuck out of the band's vocals, drums, and guitars into something entirely new. That apparently wasn't good enough, though, as label Fool's Gold asked one of their newest signees, pill-poppin' spitter Danny Brown, to hop on the track. What ensues is a hectic, quotable jam that finds a common ground between grimy Detroit hip-hop and dreamy electro-rock. Because let's face it, we were waiting for someone to do that anyway, right?
