The Big Pink: "Mayonaise" (Smashing Pumpkins Cover)
The Big Pink recently stopped by the BBC Radio 1 studios to promote their upcoming new album, Future This, by playing some tunes for the small crowd at the Live Lounge. While the gig live-streamed just fine for overseas audiences, everyone on this side of the Atlantic was left wondering when some material would show up online.
Thanks to some kind Soundcloud user, we now have audio of The Big Pink playing not their own music, but covering (and kinda slaying) the Smashing Pumpkins' "Mayonaise." It's a fitting choice when you consider that the band just reissued Siamese Dream, which features "Mayonaise." You can stream the cover below. [CoS]
