The Big Pink: "Dominos" (Switch Remix) (MP3)

There's not much that remains of the Big Pink's massive, britpop single, "Dominos," in this remix by Switch. Switch's re-work rests heavily on dancehall percussion, and some mutilated air-raid siren synths. Of course, Switch has the good sense to keep the Big Pink's excellent, "These girls fall like dominos," line intact, and that's all a listener really needs anyway. The cocksure, braggart appeal of that line is so obvious that it pretty much transcends genre. Don't be surprised if it makes an appearance in a rap single sometime in the near future. [The Fader]
