Scrappy indie rockers The Beets have a new album due out on Captured Tracks titled Stay Home, which features more resolutely lo-fi pop songs that manage to pull together elements of the Beatles, Jonathan Richman, and the Ramones. “Watching TV” is one of the tracks from that album, and the band has made a typically inventive video for it, which was shot in the basement of bassist Jose Garcia’s basement in Jackson Heights, Queens.
