The Apples In Stereo appeared (in video) on the Colbert Report last night (for the second time) to play “Can You Feel It?” from New Magnetic Wonder. The band’s first appearance on the show was to play “Stephen Stephen” for Colbert’s showdown with the Decemberists back in early ’07.
The Apples were apparently on Colbert to promote the release of the Japanese picture disc single of “Stephen Stephen,” but I’m thinking they were called in because Ari Fleischer wasn’t available.

I like Apples' pop sound but,I hate to look at them.
