The Antlers: "Two" (Video)

The Antlers’ Hospice has been gaining critical plaudits since its release in March this year, and has partly helped revived the concept album format. The record tells a story of a man who is slowly losing the love of his life to bone cancer as he watches over her in a hospital ward.

It might not sound like the most cheery album, but this video for “Two” is surprisingly fun. The mostly animated clip is full of bright, vivid colors and a 2-D version of the band, whose limbs slowly separate as the song progresses. Hospice is available now on Frenchkiss Records.
