This video of The Antlers playing "Kettering" for Pitchfork TV isn't all that special: It's just the band performing in a tube-shaped room. But any excuse at all to hear Antlers play any song of Hospiceis more than welcome: it makes your day better. Antlers have become something of a force live; I've seen them twice and both times the arrangements for songs like "Kettering" and "Bear" have changed slightly both times. This take of "Kettering" emphasizes the desolate and austere aspects of the song over the ear-splitting clatter I heard when I saw them last week. Beautiful stuff here, guys.
