Burst Apart by The Antlers is the biggest critical and commercial success in the Brooklyn-based band’s short history to date, and they celebrated that fact with an appearance on Jay Leno’s show last night (June 23). “Every Night My Teeth Are Falling Out” is one of the strongest tracks on that record and they do it justice here, with the band sounding tight and together as they lay out the angular framework the track is built around. Leno looks suitably nonplussed at the end, but it’s safe to say that The Antlers are a band that are going to considerably widen their audience over the course of the next 12 months.
