They may not have planned it this way, but the Antlers' new aquatic video for "Drift Dive" seems oddly--perhaps eerily--fitting in the wake of last night's hurricane. But unlike Sandy's havoc-wreaking tour over New York, the following video undulates with gentle, bioluminescent waves.
The band posted the clip on their Facebook page this afternoon with the following message:
Considering all that's just happened in NYC, today is a strange day to debut our new video, but it feels oddly appropriate too. James Case-Leal created this beautiful piece to accompany "Drift Dive". We hope it provides you with some comfort in the face of all this devastation. We love you, New York.
