The first volley from Thao with the Get Down Stay Down's third studio album, Know Better Learn Faster, is the record's title track. Thao Nguyen wraps her typically petulant heartbreak up in a nice package of neat rhythms and swimming, soaring strings. It's never good to wish ill on someone else, but for the sake of strong songwriting, it's not bad to hope that Thao Nguyen never stops falling out of love (or at least being able to write about it).
