Tegan and Sara: "Nobody Knows" (Steel Train Cover)

Steel Train likes the ladies. So much, in fact, that the New York act handed out its upcoming self-titled album to a bunch of female-fronted bands before its release date, and encouraged them to take a stab at reinterpreting them for their Terrible Thrills, Vol. 1 covers album. Tegan and Sara, who tapped the Train to open for them on a recent tour, took up the challenge, and tackled "Turnpike Ghost," which is now available on Stereogum. Amanda Palmer and Scarlet Johansson are tipped to appear on Terrible Thrills as well, which is slated to ship with pre-orders of the Steel Train, which ships June 29.
