Ted Leo is about to release his (roughly) 244th album, The Brutalist Bricks, tomorrow, and to promote it, he performed recently on Spinner's austere Interface. It's almost sacrilege to see these songs performed live without a huge pile of bodies pushing into the front of the stage, but Leo and his band make the most of it, rocking out pretty hardcore.
Above is Bricks single "Mighty Sparrow," and you can go here to see performances of "Even Heroes Have to Die," "One Polaroid a Day" and "Where Was My Brain."
Looking good. Going to the record release/karaoke show tomorrow and can't wait!
