Last summer when MTV caught up with Tapes 'n Tapes and had them perform new track "SWM," I wondered whether or not the song would be bugged out when the band got around to properly recording it. Well, the band has come out of the lab, where they are working on their third album, and here's a live version of "SWM" that is all acoustic just like the version from last summer. So maybe the band is going more in this direction? I suppose it's a good look for Tapes to go acoustic, given that their sophomore album Walk It Off was hated for its maxed-out Dave Fridmann production.
Tapes 'n Tapes' third album is due out later this year. [YANP]
